Trace Peptide is built to be calm and private. This policy explains what data the app may store, what permissions it asks for, and which third-party services are involved — in plain English.

What data the app may store
- Name and profile preferences
- Peptides and protocol entries you add
- Dose logs you record
- Reminder settings
- Notes you write
- Optional HealthKit-related data, only if you grant permission
- Optional camera/photo data for scan and OCR features
- Purchase and subscription status via RevenueCat
- Basic diagnostics and app performance data if enabled in iOS
Health and protocol data is primarily stored on your device, unless you explicitly export or share it, or use a feature that intentionally sends data to a service (for example, generating a PDF or restoring purchases).
Optional permissions
- Notifications — used for dose reminders. You can disable them in iOS Settings at any time.
- Apple Health (HealthKit) — optional, only with your permission. Revocable in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
- Camera & Photos — optional, used to scan vial labels or import images. Processed on-device.
Third-party processors
- Apple / App Store — purchases, subscriptions, TestFlight, and crash/diagnostics handling depending on your Apple settings.
- RevenueCat — subscription management, entitlement status, and purchase analytics. RevenueCat privacy.
Trace Peptide does not sell personal health data.
Your choices
- Disable notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → Trace Peptide.
- Revoke HealthKit permissions in Apple Health → Data Access & Devices → Trace Peptide.
- Delete app data by deleting the app or by contacting support.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by emailing support@tracepeptide.com.
Data retention
- Local data on your device remains until you delete it.
- Support requests and related emails are retained as needed to assist you.
- Purchase records are handled by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies.
Children
Trace Peptide is not intended for children under 13.
International users
Data may be processed in the United States or other countries by our service providers (e.g., Apple, RevenueCat).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app on first launch after the update.
